What is PVC and HDPE?

These are types of materials used in the fabrication of our finished product. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a smooth surface flexible plastic used in various applications including pool finish.

HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is a type of thermoplastic that is known for its tensile strength.

Materials used for our pool liners?

  • Residential pool liner - 0.80mm
  • Commercial pool liner - Reinforced commercial liner 0.90mm, 1.10mm and other special project materials.
  • Pond liners - PVC membrane PTL potable liner 0.75mm, 0.90mm, HDPE 0.50mm, 1.0mm

What is the life expectancy of a liner?

There is no such thing as a maintenance free pool. As all other investments, we must look after it in order to enjoy it. When properly maintained, pool liner can last 10 to 15 years - with proper maintenance.

Materials used for our pool liners?

Water behind the liner can be caused by the following:
  • Seepage, ground movement
  • Due to water over fill while topping up pool or rain
  • Due to structural damage, such as cracks in the pool shell, loose mortar in the bull nose that will let water get behind the liner
  • Cut to the liners or malicious damage
